EAST KENT FRIEND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 7 February 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
To relieve the mental and emotional crises suffered by persons who are homosexual bisexual or in doubt about their sexual identity or by those who may be affected by or involved with such persons by the giving of advice counsel and help from the members of the organisation working under direction who are selected and prepared to give such advice counselling and help.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
