FRENCHAY WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 20 August 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Frenchay Women's Institute meets monthly at the Village Hall and provides social activities to women of all ages. A grant is provided each year to a member to attend a course at Denman College where a choice of numerous crafts is available. We have a monthly speaker and the topics covered vary widely. It is a very well supported Institute with a current list of 94 members.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
