ST TEATH WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 29 April 2009. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Education and Social contact within our rural area. We meet monthly on the second wednesday of the month, except for August, when we meet socially. Speakers are engaged on a wide range of subjects. We also organise day trips to places of interest, take part in various village events and raise monies and awareness of local charities which will improve the lot of local people.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
