STANDLAKE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 8 May 2009. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Women's Institute organisation is based on the ideals of fellowship, truth, tolerance and justice. The main purposes of the Women's Insitute organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life and to advance their education in citizenship.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
