KIRKLEES BADGER PROTECTION GROUP
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 1 August 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
To monitor, study and protect badgers in the Kirklees area of West Yorkshire. We also aim to educate and inform the general public about badgers, and provide a service to the community in advising both the public, police, planners and local authority generally on badger issues.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
