THE PONTESBURY MUHEZA LINK
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 15 October 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The objectives of the charity are to enable the provision of medical services in the Tanga region of Tanzania, including education and support of medical personnel, and the relief of hardship in the region. Primary Health Care is supported by enabling village health workers to attend training seminars. The region has four Health Centres and the charity has paid for repairs and sent out equipment.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
