OXFORD CONSERVATION VOLUNTEERS
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 27 May 2020. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Practical work conserving the wildlife and traditional landscape of the Oxford area. We undertake a wide variety of nature conservation work from the traditional craft of hedge laying to the thoroughly modern practice of fence building; from creating new hedges by tree planting to conserving chalk grassland habitats by scrub clearance.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
