What it does
We help young, single homeless people to move into privately rented accommodation by signing a deposit guarantee with the landlord/landlady or agent. If the tenant leaves within the term of guarantee - currently 1 year - leaving rent arrears and/or non-insurable damage, then the owner/agent can claim recompense from us up to the amount of the guarantee - usually equivalent to 1 months rent.
