DISABLED PEOPLE'S ADVOCACY NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 2 April 2019. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
DPA Notts broad aim is the promotion of self-advocacy in order to increase disabled people's access to information and hence their opportunities to make informed choices and achieve their rights. We do this by offering a one-to-one advocacy/support service as well as providing general training, group advocacy facilitation and the dissemination of information by phone, post and email.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
