HOME-START ARUN

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 22 November 2010. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Home-Start Arun is a voluntary home-visiting scheme which is committed to offering friendship and promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under the age of five, to alleviate stress and conflict in their home and help to prevent family. Home-visiting volunteers are recruited and trained to enable them to support families in their own homes and at two Family Groups held in Arun.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
