THE WINSTON CHURCHILL BRITAIN AT WAR MUSEUM CHARITABLE TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 28 October 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The museum depicts London during the second world war & the blitz. It is an integral part of the national schools' curriculum for different age groups and we have had visits from over 2000 schools in the UK. French education authorities have recently put the London blitz & Dunkirk as part of the second world war schools' curriculum & we are now getting a lot of French schools visiting the museum.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
