ALAN JAMES HENRY MEMORIAL TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 September 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The objects of the charity are to support all charitable purposes but in particular preference will be given by the trustees to the relief of poverty and stress especially in the South Yorkshire area, Christian organisations, womenÔÇÖs refuges, children and the relief of cancer, through making grants to appropriate charitable organisations.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
