THEATRE ROYAL ONWARD
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 October 2020. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Theatre Royal Onward is aiming to purchase the Theatre Royal Hyde in order to apply for restoration funding and re-opening for the community and nation. The main current activities are providing the Architectural Heritage Fund with evidence of support from the public funders such as the HLF, ongoing assessment and research for future viability. An Options Appraisal has been undertaken.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
