SWINDON DOWN'S SYNDROME GROUP

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 2 December 2016. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The SDSG is run by a group of Trustees who are all parent volunteers. We aim to offer support for people with Down's Syndrome and their families, helpers and carers within the SN postcode area by providing new parent support packs, resource packs for pre-schools and schools, conferences, outings, parties, weekly speech and langage therapy, specialist sports lessons, annual fire service course.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
