PROJECT ALBERT
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 4 April 2012. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
In 2010 Project Albert is planning to build at least one bridge and assist with the construction of schools or other projects in conjunction with the Africa Exchange Organisation and Bridging The Gap. It is envisaged that civilian employers will combine efforts with the wider RAF community to help generate funds.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
