END CHILD POVERTY

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 19 August 2010. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

End Child Poverty has developed policies to build a voice that is respected, to expand its membership and engage with key audiences. It sees the creation of links between families living in poverty, opinion formers and politicians as an important role, uses its website as a major source of contact with the public and uses policy analysis & childcentred events to reach national and regional media.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
