THE FRIENDS OF CHERNOBYL'S CHILDREN EAST LEICESTERSHIRE BRANCH
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 4 November 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity helps provide relief of poverty and illness by bringing children aged between 7-13 for a 5 year period over to the UK from belarus. We provide a month for each child in a hosts home giving them much needed good food, drink and clothing. Healthcare and clean air, away from the effects of the Chernobyls disaster.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
