GOLDEN HINDE EDUCATIONAL TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 23 May 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Our main objectives are to make the heritage of the Golden Hinde accessible and educational to all about the life and times of Sir Francis Drake. The ship is open to the public on a daily basis and we have developed a series of educational workshops and living history experiences. We aim that each program will encourage and challenge participants and give them confidence.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
