THE KERNOW DEAF CLUB
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 31 December 2008. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Support of the deaf and hard of hearing community through social, mental and educational means. We help anyone throughout the county of Cornwall, but in particular, in St. Austell area. We provide (through the members and volunteer organisations) transport for deaf/hard of hearing who cannot get to our events, when financial constraints permit. Self funding through fundraising.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
