CONVOY OF HAPPINESS
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 22 July 2018. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Convoy of Happiness provide day trip experiences for long-term sick, disabled and terminally ill children and their families. We are based in Tameside and cover the entire Greater Manchester area. To maximise those benefiting each child is accompanied by a single carer. Tickets to enjoy the venue, lunch and transport is also provided.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
