NATIONAL SOCIETY FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILY CONTACT

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 June 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We believe that the needs of children and society as a whole are best served when protected from child abuse this primarily to include that suffered in the name of religion.Of note also is the psychological damage suffered as a result of historical sex abuse or mind control the like of which causes family rejection and enforced isolation. It?s these suchlike ones we pledge to serve and support.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
