SAND ROSE PROJECT
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 4 January 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Sand Rose provides free breaks to the bereaved, with particular emphasis on young families. Based on Cornwall, Sand Rose, as a national charity, extends to all local authority areas of England and Wales. We offer one or two week breaks at our project base in Marazion, Cornwall. Our cottages and garden provide a special location for those suffering loss and grief.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
