SAFETY NET - KEEPING CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES SAFE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 3 October 2023. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We work with communities across Brighton, Hove and Sussex to keep children safe. We support families with parenting issues and provide home safety equipment, we work to prevent bullying and involve children in community safety issues; provide safeguarding support for community groups and a CRB checking service. We use a safety awareness programme called Protective Behaviours to support this work

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
