CHIPPENHAM ROTARY ST NICHOLAS APPEAL FOR A POOL

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 22 February 2012. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The charity raises funds to provide St Nicholas School, Chippenham with a hydrotherapy pool. The school has some 70 pupils with a range of severe and complex learning difficulties often coupled with physical disabilities. Hydrotherapy is a key activity for disabled children. It will provide them with non-weight bearing exercise, improving their mobility and their self-confidence.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers.
