HOUSE OF JOY, SOUTH WALES
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 4 January 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We have built classrooms, toilets, kitchen, teacher's accommodation in Kasala Uganda where our sister charity, House of Joy Uganda, run a school for primary children. This involves supporting teachers, giving clean drinking water and giving all the children at least one meal a day. Kasala is one of the poorest villages in Uganda. We also present in Uk Schools/churches about the poverty in Uganda.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
