MARIA AND LIBERDADE FOUNDATION

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 25 February 2016. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Our organisation aim is to provide education, vocational skills and leaderships skills to women - so that they could apply these skills in their lives. Furthermore we believe women and women with disabilities are capable of acquiring a range of skills in order to further their opportunities of getting a job.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
