What it does
To advance the restoration, preservation and conservation of the historic Ainscough Mill barges, Ambush and Viktoria, from their fleet of 9 boats, for the benefit of the general public. To provide information on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and its relationship with Ainscough's Mill, the barges and the community along its corridor from Wigan to Liverpool.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
