What it does
Beyond the School Gates (BSG) trains former excluded (permanent, temporary or school refusing) young people and their parents as mentors to listen to the experiences of young people and their families who are at risk or or who are currently excluded from school. These young people and their parents and mentors co-create pathways that enable the young people to re-engage their education.
