What it does
Records imprisoned parents reading personalised stories to their children on video and audio. The stories are sent to the children to help to maintain meaningful contact and promote literacy and learning during the period of separation. This scheme is offered thoughout most prisons in England and Wales and a few in Scotland. Opertates in both men and women's prisons.
