AGE CONCERN BIRSTALL AND WANLIP
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 12 June 2018. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Age Concern Birstall and Wanlip has limited financial resources and only pays the wages of a qualified cook on Thurs & Fridays. The St. James day centre for elderly people from Mon. to Thurs is administered by Age Concern Leicster Shire and Rutland who pay the wages of the managers and driver/carers. Our charity provide up to 40 meals for elderly people on Fridays. We carry out some fund raising.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
