STURTON AND STOW AGRICULTURAL AND HORTICULTURAL ASSOCIATION

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 June 2012. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The purpose of the show is to promote education and friendly competition in the areas of agriculture, horticulture, arts and handicrafts. The Show is open to all age groups and most classes are open to entrants, wherever they live.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
