BECKENHAM SOCIAL CLUB FOR THE BLIND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 17 December 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We have free use of a local community hall for our fortnightly meetings at which afternoon tea and entertainment is provided. Our volunteer helpers and drivers visit sick members at home or in hospitals. Transport is provided for all members to meetings, outings etc.Due to lack of membership after Covid - the trustees regretfully decided to close the club in January 2022.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
