AUT HARDSHIP FUND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 1 June 2010. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The objects and aims of the AUT Hardship Fund are to provide relief for necessitous persons being past or present members or employees of the former Association of University Teachers and for their respective dependents, by application of the grant of financial assistance whether by lump sum or periodic payments. Any such grants are at the discretion of the AUT Hardship Fund Committee.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
