THE ARMED FORCES' CHRISTIAN UNION (AFCU)

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 December 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The AFCU is a dynamic, outward looking prayer union, discipling a growing membership, upholding Biblical principles in the Armed Forces. It seeks to: encourage and build up Christians in the Armed Forces in their faith, work for unity amongst Military Christian Organisations and Chaplains, be a Godly influence on military culture and, expose the role of military Christians to the wider Church.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers.
