HINXWORTH SUNDAY SCHOOL AND READING ROOM
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 6 October 2014. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Charity was set up in 1969 with a wide brief to benefit the villagers of Hinxworth and Edworth through income generated by a small capital sum. This was to be used "for such charitable, parochial, religious purposes or other purposes as the Rector, Churchwardens or a majority of them from time to time determine". Grants are not necessarily made every year.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
