SOUTHERN ORCHESTRAL CONCERT SOCIETY
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 28 November 2012. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The objects of the society are to promote, maintain public education and appreciation in the art of music in the southern part of England by promoting concerts by professional musicians and from time to time by musicians from the leading schools, colleges and academies of music.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
