What it does
The objects of the society include stimulating public interest in the character of the town and outlying area and encouraging appropriate development and conservation and to pursue these ends with meetings, exhibitions, lectures etc. The society holds regular monthly meetings the main purpose of which is currently to monitor planning applications and conservation issues and to plan future activiti
