THE LEAGUE OF FRIENDS OF ROSSALL AND FLEETWOOD HOSPITALS
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 March 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We assist financially and give time for the benefit of patients and their families. Organise and run events which raise funds to buy the latest equipment to enhance the well-being of patients. Members work as welcomers in each hospital, directing people, putting them at ease and reassuring them. They visit and socialise with patients, arrange flowers and man trolley shops and library trolleys.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
