THE SESAME INSTITUTE (UK AND INTERNATIONAL)
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 11 July 2018. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We promote mental health and well-being by the therapeutic use of drama and movement and the imagination. We educate health professionals in this way of working - the Sesame Approach, by delivering training courses, promoting research and liaising between therapists and service users.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
