GOSPORT CITIZENS' ADVICE BUREAU

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 1 April 2008. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The Bureau is established for the promotion of any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community of Gosport by the advancement of education, protection of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress. We achieve this by providing free, independent and impartial advice to the Gosport community.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
