THE ASIAN STUDENTS CHRISTIAN TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 15 January 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Children of the Dump (registered as ASCT) has worked in the Philippines since 1975, providing loving care, family support and education to hundreds of deprived children. We currently have over 300 children in our care, many of whom have been abused, abandoned or neglected. We have a residential home for 50 children, a school for 200 4 - 6 year olds and an educational sponsorship scheme.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
