JEWELLERY AND SILVER SOCIETY OF OXFORD

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 4 March 2020. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Regular silversmithing and jewellery making classes are held in the workshop as well as weekend courses with further specialisms. We normally participate in Oxford Artweeks and have an open workshop for a week. We have a biannual selling exhibition of members' work at the Oxfordshire Museum, Woodstock. We advise members of relevant exhibitions and lectures.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
