What it does
Awards are granted to help British professional musicians aged between 18 and 30 who have already given proof of their outstanding ability and promise in the practice of their art and who can provide evidence of their need of financial help in pursuit of their career so that they may be better able through their work to advance the education of the general public in the appreciation of music .
