THE BLAGRAVE TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 27 February 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
This is a grant making trust that was set up in 1978 under the wills of Herbert and Peter Blagrave. The Trustees are guided by a Memorandum of Wishes left by Herbert Blagrave, the founder. The main activities are to manage the investments to optimise returns, efficiently administer the trust, and adhere to good practice in the allocation of grants.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
