THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF OFFICERS SERVING IN THE METROPOLITAN POLICE SERVICE BY MAINTAINING A HIGH STANDARD OF PHYSICAL FITNESS THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN SPORTING, ATHLETIC AND OTHER RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
