THE INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF ANTI-LEPROSY ASSOCIATIONS (ILEP)

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 December 2016. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

ILEP Members work with governments and other partners around the world to support medical, scientific, social and humanitarian activities for the treatment, care and rehabilitation of persons affected by leprosy in line with WHO's Enhanced Global Strategy 2011-2015. They promote anti-discriminatory practices towards people affected by leprosy and their families and defend their human rights.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
