What it does
To advance public education in the laws directed at the protection of the public as consumers of manufactured goods and services provided for them; and in conjunction with this object, to promote impartial and scientific research into these laws and into ways in which services for consumers may be extended and improved, and to publish and disseminate the useful results of all such research.
