THE BOURNEMOUTH TOWN CENTRE DETACHED YOUTH WORK PROJECT
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 28 January 2025. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity works to support the efforts of the detached youth work team at BCP Council. It makes an annual contribution towards the youth workers' salaries. An amount of £11,000 was paid. The youth work funded involves helping those "on the street" and offering advice on drugs, alcohol and contraception. This is a non-statutory function and our charity exists to make it happen.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
