FAMILY FRIENDS (VOLUNTARY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT)
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 7 October 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Family Friends provides Out Of School activities to children aged 4-11 and media training to Not In Education Employment Training (NEET) young people aged 13-19, to capacity build them back into mainstream provision. Through our intergenerational project we offer training in the use of digital technology to older people aged 60 plus, to better equip them to engage more fully in society.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
