What it does
To relieve either generally or individually Guardsmen who serve or who have served in the Regiment who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress as a result of fulfilling their military functions in defence of the Realm and their wives, widows and other dependants likewise in need by reason of the death, injury or disablement of the Guardsmen.
